Peace Corps Preparation Program

The Â鶹¹û¶³ Peace Corps Preparation Program (PCPP) is designed to help students acquire the knowledge, skills and experience needed to serve in the Peace Corps.
Â鶹¹û¶³ students have a long history of Peace Corps service, and we are proud to offer a cooperative agreement between Â鶹¹û¶³ and the Peace Corps. Students who wish to earn a certificate for the Peace Corps Preparation Program may do so at Â鶹¹û¶³. Â鶹¹û¶³'s MILE General Â鶹¹û¶³ curriculum requires students to complete courses in Global Connections and Cultural & Linguistic Competencies that support the PCPP's Intercultural competence component. Courses taken in fulfillment of the PCPP certificate may also be used in fulfillment of a major, minor, or certificate. Students who successfully complete the PCPP program at Â鶹¹û¶³ will receive a certificate of completion from the Peace Corps and have a notation on their transcript recognizing this accomplishment. Please note that completion of the program does not guarantee acceptance into the Peace Corps, but the specialized curriculum and experiences that go with it make them stronger candidates.
For a program application or for more information, contact Â鶹¹û¶³ PCPP Coordinator, Christina Crawford, Director for Employer Relations & Experiential Learning, at crawfordc02@moravian.edu or call 610-861-1509.
