Men's Tennis
Goal is 75 supporters
The Â鶹¹û¶³ Men’s Tennis team continues to build a culture of excellence–on the court, in the classroom, and throughout the community. This past season, the team posted a strong 13–8 record, clinched the #4 seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament, and earned its third consecutive playoff appearance. The Greyhounds battled until the very end, falling just short in a thrilling 4–3 semifinal matchup that showcased their grit, resilience, and unity.
Last year’s success was fueled by hard work and teamwork. Joey Kelly ’28 earned All-Conference Honorable Mention in singles, while Director of Tennis Mariana Freitas and her assistants were named the Landmark Conference Men’s Tennis Coaching Staff of the Year. The team also excelled academically, earning the ITA All-Academic Team Award with a 3.46 GPA, and five student-athletes were recognized individually as ITA Scholar-Athletes.
Beyond competition, the program continues to make a difference in the community. For the fourth straight year, the Greyhounds partnered with USTA Love Serving Autism and took part in Moravian traditions such as Heritage Day and Christmas Vespers, emphasizing the values of service, inclusion, and connection.
Your support makes all of this possible. Every gift directly enhances the student-athlete experience–helping fund our spring break trip to Orlando, new team warm-ups, new ball baskets, and match towels. These contributions go far beyond equipment: they strengthen team culture, create lifelong memories, and give our players the tools to compete and grow at the highest level.
