What inspired you to attend Moravian?

What inspired me to attend Moravian was the welcoming community and the opportunity to express myself amongst students and faculty.

What inspired you to pursue your major?

I tried classes that suited my skills, and I also wanted to gain knowledge from other students within the major.

What are your career goals and desired profession?

My goal is to go into the advertising industry and become a marketing management director.

How has your experience at Moravian contributed to your personal growth?

I believe my Moravian experiences helped contribute to my personal growth by improving my emotional intelligence (with work, school, and home) and not being afraid to seek help. Before attending Moravian, I thought I was already a well-rounded person, but Moravian faculty and students saw the potential in me, and I keep challenging myself. I think about how I can improve myself every day.

If you met someone new and had to describe yourself in one sentence, what would you say about yourself?

I am always willing to support anyone (with Moravian resources and/or advice), reassuring them that it’s okay to ask questions and lean on others.

What is one word to describe your Moravian experience?

Flourishing.

What are your favorite student experiences at Moravian? Why?

One out of many of my favorite experiences was doing the UBUNTU program and gaining a strong connection with the Center for Inclusive Excellence. I’ve met the most life-changing people there and created many fond memories with students and faculty. It is a place on campus where I can comfortably be myself without caution.

Thank You

I would like to express my sincere gratitude and personally thank you for contributing to my education. Without your generous support, I would not have been able to continue pursuing higher education, as I have faced significant financial challenges trying to maintain a stable lifestyle.

During my time at Moravian, I’ve found the potential to challenge and grow myself mentally, physically, and academically. The support from faculty, along with the meaningful connections I’ve made with students and alumni, has allowed me to fully embrace my identity and strive to be my best self.

My Moravian journey has been filled with involvement: President of ASU, Social Media Coordinator for the Commuter Student Association and First-Generation Student Union, STARs, UBUNTU, the RISE Program, Reed Raymond ’74 Mentorship, Orientation Leader for Fall ’24, First-Year & Exploratory Front Desk Assistant, and, previously, a Phonathon Alumni Caller.

Through these leadership roles and opportunities, I am proud to represent Moravian. None of this would have been possible without your generosity. Not only have you empowered me to grow, but you have also allowed me to give back to the Moravian community and showcase my Moravian pride in all I do.
