Reasons to be Pretty
by Neil Labute
Directed by Lexi Jordan
A love story about the impossibility of love, REASONS TO BE PRETTY introduces us to Greg, who really, truly adores his girlfriend, Steph. Unfortunately, he also thinks she has a few physical imperfections, and when he casually mentions them, all hell breaks loose. A hopelessly romantic drama about the hopelessness of romance, REASONS TO BE PRETTY is a gorgeous play.

No story can be told from only one perspective. Everyone has a deeper meaning behind their actions, found within the darkness of their subconscious, that explains everything they do. For Holofernes, the death of his family is the root of a descent into madness, vengeance, and a desire for complete control. For Ishtar, it’s a mission to stop, and perhaps even rescue, her mentor Holofernes and maintain the goodness of the world. Holofernes has lost everything. Ishtar has nothing to lose. This is the story of their motivations.

Shakespeare After Dark
Conceived by Christopher Shorr from text by William Shakespeare
A haunting video installation
Step into the hushed, sacred stillness of Borhek Chapel, and lose yourself in the shadows of Shakespeare’s most ghostly scene. In Shakespeare After Dark, Hamlet’s fateful encounter with his father’s ghost is reimagined as an immersive video installation—projected larger-than-life onto the chapel walls, where echoes of the past swirl with flickering light and fractured memory. Shakespeare’s language becomes an incantation. The visuals distort and fragment—a psychological dreamscape where grief and vengeance blur into abstraction.
